Happy Monday, everyone!
If you have been following me on Instagram, you may have seen that I have been having a HARD time finding a good concealer for the unavoidable dark circles under my eyes. I have seriously tried everything… Drinking a half gallon of water a day – which just led to going to the bathroom constantly. The Rodan and Fields eye cream that is supposed to be the “holy grail” (but did nothing). Sleeping more to try and reduce the dark circles – but I swear I just always look/feel tired.
It’s a real problem. That seemingly a TON of you relate to!
So, I took it upon myself to try out a few different concealers that many of you have suggested, and I’ve compiled a short guide of the products I tried along with some results from each one. ***Sephora has a limit for 3 free samples, and Nordstrom also does free samples! Here are my rankings…

5. Frankie Rose – in “Fresh”
This concealer was not the best fit for me, but still worked great! It was smooth, didn’t separate, but also didn’t cover my dark circles as much as I needed. It was brightening, but not very full coverage (if that makes sense?).

4. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer – in “Vanilla”
To be honest, I only got a sample big enough to use once, so I don’t feel like I got the full effect that I could have if I wore it a few days in a row. The NARS concealer was smooth, but honestly a little thick, and not the good kind. It instantly separated into my lines and didn’t blend out very well. But once it was blended, it was the fuller coverage that I like. A little better than Frankie Rose bc of the fuller coverage, but not all that it was cracked up to be.

3. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination… Waterproof Concealer –
This one was pretty good! IT Cosmetics is thicker, but blended super well for me. The reason I didn’t absolutely love the illumination concealer was bc it didn’t seem to actually be “illuminating”. Not for me at least. I felt that the regular Bye Bye Under Eye was better. But more about that in a minute…
2. Glo Minerals Oil Free Concealer – in “Natural”
I seriously loved this one! It’s honestly more of a tie for first place, but for different reasons. The Glo Minerals concealer went on SO smooth. And maybe it was because the color matched me so well, but it just blended like a dream! It was definitely a medium coverage but was buildable, and felt super light. GREAT for summer.
Finally… 1. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Anti-Aging Waterproof Concealer
I LOVE. Seriously, all of you that recommended this one, THANK YOU! IT Cosmetics has overall worked the best for me for sure. It is definitely a thicker formula than a lot of concealers, but that comes with the full coverage need. This one did blend incredibly, and stayed put throughout the day. Honestly, it did separate into my creases a little bit, but easily blended back out with just ma few pats from my finger. Didn’t even look like it had ever been messed up. I think this one is for sure going to be my year round go-to!

Thank you again to everyone that had responded to my question about which concealer was their personal favorites and for helping me to find mine!
XOXO, Carly J
The IT concealer that was #1 is the one I use too Carly! Glad you found one that works for you😀! Thanks for sharing your thought on the others! #LGB
